Beautiful landscape of high altitude lakes, the altitude of the trek varies, but it generally ranges from around 3,500 meters (11,500 feet) to 4,500 meters (14,800 feet) above sea level. With the highest point on the trek at 4,800 meters (15,750 feet) the hike starts out with a gentle ascent through rhododendron and oak woodland thickets and traditional Bhutanese villages. The trail gets steeper and more difficult as the walk goes on, and there are several high passes to traverse.  We have a diverse range of flora and animals along the path, including vibrant wildflowers, as well as a vast diversity of birds and other creatures.

The stunning high-altitude lakes are the trek’s high point. Gangchhenta, the highest point of the trek at around 4,800 meters (15,750 feet) above sea level, is one of Bhutan’s highest peaks, and the trek trail leads to the base of it.
