Overview

The Bumdra Trek provides a unique experience with 5-6 hours of climbing on Day 1 and 4-5 hours of descending to Tiger’s Nest and beyond on Day 2. The trek features a cozy wilderness camp, with clouds settling below and offering stunning views of Paro Valley and Mount Jumolhari.

  • Ancient Forests: Walk through centuries-old pine, oak, and rhododendron forests.
  • Expansive Meadows: large, open meadows and  yak herder’s camps
  • Expansive Meadows: Enjoy large, open meadows along the trail.
  • Bumdra Wilderness Camp:  at 3,800 m with clouds often below the campsite, providing a stunning view of the Paro Valley and Mount Jumolhari.
